Our proprietary tested technology improves financials, while helping to conserve the natural environment. It is the first strictly mechanical solution for depressing the pour point of heavy crude oil and bunker fuel to keep it in a liquid state. We help our clients minimize the environmental impacts of oil production, transport, and storage by eliminating the need for chemical pour point depressants and energy-consuming pipeline heating systems. This technology may unlock previously unfeasible resources by improving their cost-effectiveness.
ITD uses a special alloy of elected metals to induce changes in the molecular structure of crude oil and bunker fuel, thus preserving it in a liquid state without changing the chemical properties or the quality of the oil.
The oil industry has traditionally used chemical pour point depressants and pipeline heating systems to lower and preserve the pour point of heavy crude oil. Our technology makes chemicals and power intensive heating obsolete. Once oil passes though our device, a specially designed metal alloy induces the ionization of the particles in the oil. Ionization blocks the conglomeration of particles, preventing oil from going into a solid state.
For example, it can be installed in producing wells, production platforms, oil pumping stations, and places where oil is stored, such as terminals, refineries, etc.
